Wedding DJ in Denver
A planning partner for the whole day — not just a playlist.
Overview
Choosing a wedding DJ is really about trust — you’re handing someone the pacing of the most important day of your year. Mike Broom, who performs as DJ Broom, plans the details with you well ahead of time and then reads the room on the night, so the music carries each moment instead of interrupting it.
Details
A planning partner you can trust
You’ll talk through the day together — timing, key songs, the moments that matter to you — so nothing is improvised under pressure. Clear communication before the date is what makes the night feel effortless.
Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
Each part of the day wants a different feel: a clean, audible ceremony, easy conversation over cocktails, then a reception that builds. Mike plans the transitions so the energy rises where it should and the schedule stays on track.
Music that fits every generation
Open-format means grandparents and college friends can share the same dancefloor. Share your must-plays and do-not-plays; Mike balances your list against what the crowd is actually responding to.
Coordinated with your planner and venue
Mike works alongside your planner, photographer, and venue team so announcements, first dances, and load-in all line up — one less vendor for you to manage on the day.

Good to know.
How do I book Mike for my event?
Send your date, location, and event details through the availability request. Mike confirms availability and sends a quote, usually within 24–48 hours.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates — especially weekends and the summer and holiday seasons — book up fast. Three to six months ahead is ideal, but reach out anytime; last-minute dates are sometimes available.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Mike brings professional DJ gear and can provide a full sound system sized to your room. If your venue has a house PA, he can run through that instead — just let him know.
Can we request specific songs?
Absolutely. Share must-plays and do-not-plays ahead of time, and guests can request on the night. Mike balances your list against reading the room.
